Known Issues

Like any software, vimoMail has a few bugs. I do my best to make them as few, and small as possible but the nature of software is that it is going to have problems. Here's the few that I know about. I list these here not to deter you from using vimoMail, but to let you know what is happening if you experience one of them. Hopefully you'll see this list shrink and eventually disappear.

• Sometimes vimoMail will corrupt it's mail database when it exits. This may cause it to lock up the next time you start it. I've been hunting this one down for a while and it's elusive. If this happens you may need to remove your battery to reset your phone. This is my biggest priority right now and I hope it have it fixed before the next release.
• Some URLs may not be highlighted properly if they contain weird characters. I'm working on making my URL finder smarter.
• The message viewing window should highlight all email addresses, not just mailto: URLs.

Version 0.71 is a major upgrade release. It fixes many bugs and adds some great new features.

• You can now use SSL with POP, IMAP and SMTP. This means GMail support!
